This vault structured metal material is created in a gentle process that does not affect the quality of the material or its surface. 

The structuring technique uses relatively simple tools and low amounts of energy in order to structure the material from a slightly bended state.

During this process, the material is deformed by selforganisation and developes a three- dimensional fold with a very low degree of plastification.

As the surface of the material is not mechanically touched during the process, the original surface quality remains unchanged during the process.

The structured sheet metals and foils have an improved stiffness in all directions, so wall thickness can be reduced. The material offers noise reduction and thermal stability and has a more even way of absorbing crash energy.
