Knauf has introduced a new plasterboard called Diamond Board. This top-quality drywall board combines all best features of both paper lined gypsum boards and gypsum fibreboards. Especially where extra demands have to be met regarding moist-resistance, sound insulation, fire resistance and robustness, including the use in moderately wet areas.

Diamond Board contains an extra heavy gypsum core, is reinforced with glassfibres and lined with special, blue paper. Diamond Board is easy to cut and break to the right size. The special Diamond Board screws ensure easy screwing and a smooth surface, which limits eventual sanding. Diamond Board is impregnated to the core. As a paper lined board, Diamond Board expands and shrinks much less than gypsum fibreboard due to changes in air moisture.
