Nya Walls panels have the looks of textile but in fact, they are not. Nya Walls combines textile design with a material-technical innovation. By means of a patented casting method, the textile surfaces are moulded. The textile structures are pictured on a polyurethane carrier with a precision which has not been achieved so far. The design Escriba has a relief structure, as if woven by broad fibres of bast. The ornamental design creates interesting effects of light and shadow. Escriba is available in ten colours: Silver, Platin, Ivory, Pearl, Gold, Glimmer, Copper, Taupe, Steel and Graphite. The interior panels are delivered in 92 x 72 cm. One plate weights about 3 kg with a thickness of 5 to 11 mm, depending on the relief structure. The interior plates can be used as wall finish instead of plasting. Suitable as substrate for Nya Walls panels are concrete, wood and plaster. Nya Walls is also suitable for moisture-prone areas. However, direct and permanent contact with water should be avoided.
