Manufacturer information
Aquadyne

Aquadyne is a lightweight permeable slab manufactured entirely from recycled plastic material using low-energy technology. It has high permeability and flow rates (the same as gravel and ten times of sand) and no negative environmental impacts through leaching. It can simply be used within the rooftop paving void to attenuate water runoff as an effective SUDS technique. Aquadyne has a high strength – draining freely under a compression stress of over 1,000 tonnes per m2 . Therefore it can also be used over a membrane directly on the roof structure to support both paving and vegetated roofs, as well as to line planters. Of particular interest is the use of Aquadyne slabs as both the substrate and growing medium for green roofs and walls.
