Plastic: Materials for Inspirational Design by Chris Lefteri is a journey exploring the material properties of 77 objects made out of plastic.

Each object was chosen to represent a specific physical property. PLASTIC shows examples of materials from their invention 100 years ago to incredibly advanced, intelligent materials that will be common in years to come. From contemporary products by designers such as Ron Arad and Droog Design, to useful products like plastic corks and bicycle seats, the objects represent a wide range of sources and contexts. Each example focuses of the specific species of plastic and reveals how the product was made, key properties, where to get further information and typical uses for that material.
