Material Xperience 2012: great success


After three days ‘World of Inspiration’, the event Material Xperience 2012 ended on Friday 27 January. With a huge amount of visitors and many enthusiastic responses, the event can be called a success.

Cork stool


Recently a lot of furniture designs show the use of cork. Green thinking might well be a reason for that. Cork oak trees have a quite long lifespan and their oak bark can be peeled every nine years. German designer Manuel Welsky has created the SCRW stool, made of cork and high-quality steel.
