This is the Materia Newsletter for March/April 2012. We’ve been very busy with several Materia exhibitions, such as in Rotterdam (The Netherlands), Brussels (Belgium), Essen (Germany). Right now Materia has an axhibition in Shanghai, China. At the Materia Inspiration Centre in Amsterdam we’ll have an event on materials and acoustics, the first in the Xpert Series, a new monthly event on topical themes.Furthermore we here present twelve acoustic materials and twelve of our acquisitions.

Acoustic Wall in the Netherlands for the first time


Distortion II, the Danish acoustic wall is called. The wall will be shown at the Materia Xpert Series on 5 april in Amsterdam. The product is the result of a cooperation between design and science and combines a highly aesthetical look with absorption of sound.
