Color Flow cabinets change colour depending on your angle

Studio Orijeen, based in Seoul, designed Color Flow, two colourful cabinets that appear to change shade depending on the viewing angle.

The series consists of a wardrobe and a small cabinet, both featuring rounded edges. The colour changing effect is created by a lenticular surface, which consists of a translucent plastic sheet, containing a set of small, convex lenses on one side, and a flat surface on the other.

The lenses cause create the colour-changing effect, as well as the illusion of depth in a two dimensional surface.

The small cabinet changes colour from red to blue, and the wardrobe from blue to yellow. Both cabinets are made of wood.
