Sara Rosenthal, interior designer
“Radical Innovation with 8˚”
In this lecture, Rosenthal notes the importance of radical innovation in the development of concepts at spas and health resorts. These are designed not only to be a pleasant spatial experience: correct choice of materials and products also play a major role. How these choices come about and how their effects are visible will be demonstrated using examples from international projects in the spa and wellness industry. The models used to also give a useful perspective on other “Leisure & Hospitality” projects.

About Sara Rosenthal

” Practical issues versus Aesthetics ”
Van der Laan will speak on the challenges that an interior designer encounters while designing public spaces. if you both aesthetic and practical aspects lets go together. Safety requirements are getting stricter: consider the number of fire escapes in hotels. Van der Laan illustrates her story with pictures of different hotel solutions. These highlight the importance of co-operation with specialists in lighting, acoustics, maintenance and graphic design.
